Here's a question for those of you in the Sacramento area...
If I were to revive my old club UNDERCITY...
featuring the DJ skills of myself, Dire and selected special guests, burlesque/cabaret type acts and the occasional live band...
playing an almost incomprehensible mix of old industrial, new industrial, new wave, no wave, neofolk, postpunk, pre-EBM, really old gothic and really new electronic, the occasional Sixties, lounge or exotica...music to dance to or at least look really cool not dancing to...
with FREE POCKY...
ONE SUNDAY A MONTH
would you go?
let me know. this is a marketing survey. essay answers, rambling threats or terse yes/no responses are all okay.

I may even request to DJ once or twice, even though I don't have a clue what I'm doing, which may turn out good, or just oddly different at the very least.

I'd move to the west coast to see THAT.

there's a concept in that. especially since I normally go to a barbecue at a friend's house on Sunday nights.

How late would it end? How early would it start? How much would the cover be? Where would it be located? Would there be Tasty Beverage of the adult variety available?
We're always interested in new stuff to do, but it's sometimes hard to get the motivation together if it's a work night / it's too far / the cover seems unreasonable / the drinks are poopy / etc....
Saturdays would be easier, because then there's not the work factor, but I can understand why Sundays may be easier to arrange...

It's a Sunday because I was offered a Sunday.
